The journey to clearing UPSC CSE is often described as a marathon. I started my preparation during the final year of my graduation.
My primary focus was on consistency rather than the number of hours studied. I limited my resources, revised them multiple times, and wrote regular mock tests.
Time Management
I divided my day into three slots: 4 hours for the optional subject, 3 hours for General Studies, and 2 hours for current affairs reading.
I believe the main differentiator was my answer writing practice, which I started only after completing the syllabus once.
