It took me three failed attempts to finally understand what the exam demands. After my third failure, I was borderline depressed and wanted to quit.
But then I realized, quitting would mean starting from zero in something else. So, I took a 2-month complete break.
When I returned, I changed my strategy completely. I stopped studying from standard textbooks cover-to-cover and started reverse-engineering from previous year questions.
Remember, your self-worth is not tied to an exam result.
